The Arlovski/Sylvia feud goes beyond the bad blood that develops over three fights, like any passionate hatred, it was fueled by a woman. A really, really beautiful woman. Back in the mid-2000’s Andrei Arlovski was dating Polish supermodel Patrycja Mikula. Life was good, the couple displayed their European beauty for about two years in many public places and Andrei was smitten. Some people even thought she was to blame for Arlovski’s back to back losses to Sylvia in 2006. ‘She made him go soft’ they would say, even though just as many would claim quite the opposite effect was brought upon Arlovski while he was around her.
Finally, they broke up around 2008 just as Affliction was getting into the swing of things. Andrei would fight at Affliction: Banned and lo’ and behold – Sylvia was there as well with Patrycja Mikula on his arm. A few months later and still peeved about Sylvia coming up the victor in their feud once again, the Belarussian asked Tim Sylvia one of the most pertinent questions ever: ‘How taste my pee pee?’
