What can we say about EA MMA that we haven’t already ten thousand times before? I can’t speak to the rest of the crew, but EA MMA dying was harder on me than Strikeforce, WEC, and the IFL closing up shop combined. OK, maybe not combined. I’m still bitter about the IFL. But still, we considered EA MMA to be by far the greatest MMA game in existence, and there was no other game our formidable thumbs manipulated into pure joy more than EA MMA. Countless memories of good times on Sunday Night Fights, friendships made, tournaments had and blood shed.
It was a good run.
It’s still hard to believe the servers have been off for over a year now, and our wild times with EA on their Live Broadcasts are over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t reflect with a few hugs and firm handshakes while we watch the recently unearthed MiddleEasy Heavyweight Grand Prix 2!
Watch an all-star lineup of fighters throw down for glory while Gary LaPlante and I fight purely to hurt one another digitally and emotionally in a bloody brawl for the ages.
