Blast to the Past: Jens Pulver’s nasty soccer kick knockout at Pride Bushido 10

Never mind the journalists and armchair fighters sitting behind their computer screens damning soccer kicks and everything they stand for, the majority of fighters we talk to are all for them, and that’s why it’s great that ONE FC still exists. It’s also great that one of the dudes who loves soccer kicks as much as us is Jens Pulver, who just so happens to fight for ONE FC. It’s no secret Jens has had his share of fights coming up through the years when stomps were legal, knees in the north south position were a common occurrence and soccer kicks were in fashion. Jens even has his very own Pride soccer kick knockout. How would you like to unlock that achievement?

So let’s go back to Pride Bushido 10, where Jens Pulver and Kenji Arai would have a wild brawl that would leave Arai bloodied and looking at the ceiling and Jens with a gash on his leg that leaves a scar to this day. We have the video and Jens’ memories of the battle after the jump.
