The ex-Bellator star wants to make his mark in bare-knuckle fighting

BKFC’s return to Kansas was a success as BKFC 23 headliners Mike Richman and Dave Rickels did not fail to put on a show at the Intrust Bank. Both MMA veterans traded hard shots but it was Richman who got the better of his fellow ex-Bellator standout. The event went down on (Fri., April 8, 2022) from inside Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas.

A TKO in less than two rounds

Rickels came in looking to secure the W in front of his hometown fans. However, Richman caught him with some devastating short hooks in the second round that sent him to the floor. The referee finally stepped in at the 0:31 mark and stopped the fight, declaring “The Marine” as the winner via TKO.

Richman had a total of 26 fights in MMA. However, he has found a new lease on life in bare-knuckle fighting and is now looking forward to becoming a legend in the sport.

Richman has now extended his unbeaten BKFC record to 3-0. Prior to Rickels, he already scored two first-round finishes against Dakota Cochrane and Marcel Stamps.
