UFC Hall Of Famer BJ Penn And Nik Lentz Agreed To Meet Eachother Later This Year

A former UFC lightweight and welterweight champion B.J. Penn is currently riding on a seven-fight losing streak, despite that he’s returning to Octagon later this year against lightweight veteran Nik Lentz.

UFC head honcho Dana White confirms in a recent interview with TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter that “Prodigy” and Lentz verbally agreed to square off; however, date and venue has yet to be determined yet.

He will be facing Nik Lentz, both sides have verbally agreed.

Penn, 40, last scored a knockout win over Matt Hughes back in 2010, since then he has gone 0-7-1 in the UFC. “Prodigy” last fought back in May of 2019 where he suffered a decision loss against Clay Guida at UFC 237.

UFC veteran Nik Lentz is coming off a second-round TKO loss over Charles Oliveira this past May. Since returning to the lightweight division, Lentz has gone 5-3 in the past eight-fight.
