Movsar Evloev is still unbeaten after UFC London, but the result against Lerone Murphy is still being argued by fans, fighters, and media.
In the five-round main event, Evloev won by majority decision. Two judges scored it 48-46 for Evloev, while one judge had it 47-47. Evloev also had a point deducted in Round 4 for repeated low blows, which made an already close fight even more difficult to score.
UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping, who did commentary live, said right away that he saw the fight differently. On his YouTube channel, Bisping said:
“I’ll just get to the point: I thought Lerone — and I’ve got nothing against Movsar, and this is not me being biased, for all the American fans — I thought Lerone should have won that fight.”
Bisping added:
“I thought he won the first three rounds. I thought Movsar didn’t pick it up and really start going for it until Rounds 4 and 5. And clearly Movsar won Rounds 4 and 5. He dominated those rounds. He busted him up. He damaged him. Lerone was talking about at the end of 4, he blew his hip out and whatnot.”
He then pointed to the score math and deduction, saying:
“But even still, that’s three rounds to two. And then, even if you give Movsar the third round, which was a close one, Movsar had a point deducted for the two groin shots. He had a point deducted in Round 4.”
I will truly never understand how brain dead people were so easily convinced that Lerone Murphy somehow beat Movsar Evloev.

Bisping’s Scorecard Take vs. Evloev’s Official Win
Bisping also said the deduction could have changed the final result to a draw, even if someone leaned toward Evloev in one close round. He said:
“Now, maybe I’m wrong, but there was the point deduction. So, should it have been a draw? Because if it’s two rounds apiece, and let’s just say Movsar won three out of [five], well then, he’s essentially lost one of them because he loses the point. So, if anything, it should have been a draw, in my humble opinion.”
Still, Bisping gave full credit to Evloev’s run after the decision became official. He said:
“Regardless, the winner was Movsar Evloev. He’s now 20-0, which is ridiculous.” He continued, “He’s beaten Arnold Allen, Diego Lopes, Aljamain Sterling, Lerone Murphy tonight, he’s 20-0, and he’s probably going to fight for the featherweight title next, against the great Alexander Volkanovski. When and where that will happen, I don’t know. But it will be an interesting fight.”
If that fight happens, Bisping thinks it is a huge test. He said, “Volkanovski is not an easy nut to crack. That is a tough one.”
Officially, the result is a majority decision win for Movsar Evloev, and his undefeated streak moves to 20-0. Love the scoring or hate it, his name is now parked at the front of the featherweight line.
