Bigfoot Silva wants to send Brock Lesnar back to pro wrestling

The recent UFC acquisition of Strikeforce has left many of us feeling uneasy and confused like we are stuck in the movie Donnie Darko. Let’s just hope we don’t start seeing giant evil talking bunnies spewing warnings about the impending end of the world as we know it. Maybe we can start beginning to accept and embrace this new mega MMA machine like Bigfoot Silva seems to be doing. In a recent MMAJunkie.com article, Silva talks about his feelings on the UFC-Strikeforce deal. Silva isn’t confused about the buyout at all, as a matter of fact he likes it and knows exactly what he wants to do as a result. He wants this new MMA world order to be devoid of all things Brock Lesnar.

“It excites me, The UFC is the No. 1 event on earth. The best fighters in the world are there. I would love to fight there.”

“I’d love to fight Brock Lesnar and send him back to pro wrestling because I don’t accept the fact that [he’s] ranked No. 2. It’s not personal; I don’t know Brock. It’s just professional.”

Bigfoot Silva versus Brock Lesnar is one of the futuristic visions that should help us transition from our grief over the loss of Strikeforce as a stand alone organization and move into the acceptance phase. That’s one fight that has nuclear fusion potential written all over it. Sit back and close your eyes and imagine the Bigfoot atom colliding with the Lesnar frate trane atom and tell me you don’t picture a hydrogen bomb explosion. [source]
