Benji’s MMA career
Radach may not be as famous as his other contemporaries but he was a pioneer of the sport, having competed as a pro in 2001. He fought for several MMA promotions before landing on UFC in May 2002.
Benji rapidly rose to prominence as a middleweight fighter and went 1-1-1 under the UFC banner. Among his most notable fights was his TKO loss to former UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk at UFC 39.
R.I.P. UFC vet Benji Radach. Here is the craziest Benji moment ever: at 15-1 he challenged Danny Lafever (0-0) allegedly over an ex-girlfriend Lafever was dating. Lafever wins by KO in 55s, one of the wildest upsets in MMA history, then retires at 1-0. pic.twitter.com/whQvrN4FZj

Prior to joining the UFC, “The Razor” participated in the second World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) event, where he achieved victory over Royden Demotta with a technical knockout in just 61 seconds. He later had a period of successful run with the IFL where he went 5-1.
Radach then had brief stints with EliteXC, Strikeforce and Bellaltor. He capped off his pro MMA career with a record of 21-7-1.
