I can’t even imagine the weight of [expletive] talk LayzieTheSavage will have to sift through for the remainder of 2012. Let’s hope he has a snorkel so he won’t drown in all of the verbal muck that will be thrown his way in the coming days. It’s not his fault that he’s partial to a guy that grew up relatively in the same area. I’m sure if an entertaining fighter originated from your vicinity, you would constantly be in fanboy mode. If you’re not, then the terrorists will have won.

Nate Diaz was just brutalized by Ben Henderson. One judge even tabulated a 50-43 decision in favor of the UFC lightweight champion. From punching Nate Diaz directly in his leg five consecutive times to landing gargantuan slams, Bendo simply had the 209’s number — and he exploited it in every possible way.

At the end of the fight, Ben Henderson expected the impossible: For the UFC audience to give him an amen. It’s such a demanding question that requires entirely too much cognitive work after watching a grueling five-round title fight.
