With the K-1 World Grand Prix Final 16 shrouded in mystery, things are finally starting to come together, apparently. It’s a bit over three weeks before the event and no official announcements from K-1 have been made regarding the fight card. Hesdy Gerges has said he’s fighting Errol Zimmerman and there are a few other rumored match-ups floating around, but nothing concrete.
We learned of one more fight today though, as Ben Edwards took to Facebook to announce that he’d be facing Singh “Heart” Jaideep at the Final 16 on October 29th. It’s a match-up of two relatively unproven fighters in K-1.
