Bellator’s new undefeated heavyweight, Vitaly Minakov, just picked up another brutal win

A few months ago we told you about a Russian heavyweight that hit with the force of gravity and finished all but one of his fights in the first round. His name was Vitaly Minakov — and his name is still Vitaly Minakov. Luckily for us he didn’t change his name in an attempt to make everyone at MiddleEasy look like name mispronouncing clowns. Since we published the article, Minakov signed with Bellator to take part in the next heavyweight tournament (not the current one with Brett Rogers…etc). Now that Cole Konrad has retired from MMA to take an office job in the midwest, the Bellator heavyweight strap has now been relegated to an unclaimed piece of golden jewelry that can only be worn around one’s waist.

This past weekend, Vitaly Minakov took on Fabiano Sherner in a Russian MMA promotion that we don’t know the name of simply because we do not speak any dialect of Russian. Actually, Bauzen may know some Russian but he’s all into Minecraft at the moment. Check out yet another win from Minakov, bringing his record to a rather impressive 9-0.
