Bella Mir has made an interesting offer. The daughter of former UFC champion Frank Mir wants to face Mya Lesnar, daughter of Brock Lesnar, in an MMA fight.
The idea came from an interview on July 22, 2025. Mir sees it as a way to finish a rivalry her dad left open with Lesnar.
Fight Proposal and Family Ties
Mir spoke about the idea in a recent talk.
“It’s funny you say that about Mya Lesnar, the amount of people that have asked me if I want to fight her and do the Brock Lesnar-Frank Mir trilogy but in daughter form,” Mir told MMA Fighting. “I know Dana [White] would 100 percent approve of that if Mya was fighting. So if Mya Lesnar, if you’re ever hearing this, you should train and we could just have a little fight. Because that would be awesome. Who wouldn’t want to see that?”
She went further with her thoughts.
“I’m like Mya, just train for a year,” Mir continued. “She’s athletic. She’ll get it down. She trains for a year? That would be insane. Honestly. That actually would be crazy. Maybe the universe, it knew her and I were going to finish that trilogy fight so they didn’t have our dads finish it. That would be awesome. I think I would be more hyped for that than anyone watching honestly.” via MMAFighitng
Mir, 22, has won all three of her MMA fights. She thinks Mya, a college shot put star, could prepare in a year and join her in the octagon. Their dads’ past fights fuel the idea of a new chapter.
Frank Mir claimed the UFC heavyweight title twice. He beat Brock Lesnar with a submission at UFC 81 in 2008 but lost to him by knockout at UFC 100 in 2009. A third fight never took place.
Brock Lesnar came to UFC from WWE in 2007. He won the heavyweight title in 2008 against Randy Couture and kept it against Mir in 2009. Lesnar stepped away from MMA in 2011 and returned briefly in 2016.
Mya Lesnar, 23, shines in track and field at Colorado State. She has not stepped into MMA but shows natural talent. Bella Mir fights at bantamweight and trains with her dad, who now guides fighters.
The proposal could open a fresh page in the Mir-Lesnar story. Both families may watch closely as the idea develops.
