- Khamzat Chimaev laid out his condition before fighting Belal Muhammad
- “Remember The Name” seems to have no issues about it
Khamzat Chimaev and Belal Muhammad have been going at it on social media since December, UFC president Dana White previously stated that no one wants to take on Chimaev, but Muhammad begged to disagree and called out “Borz.”
Under one condition
Chechnya-born Chimaev lives in Sweden and is a practicing Muslim. He does not appear to be interested in fighting a fighter who is representing the country of Palestine.
As expected, Chimaev has let Muhammad know that he’s down to share the octagon with him. However, “Borz” has made it clear to his fellow UFC welterweight contender that the fight will push through but Muhammad should not bring the Palestinian flag en route to the cage.
“I will fight you if you don’t take the Palestinian flag into battle,” Chimaev tweeted.

No problem
Muhammad, on the other hand, swiftly responded and told Chimaev that he has no problem with it. Besides, “Remember The Name” added that he can’t bring the flag anymore even if he wished to.
“Respect bro ..Il bring a flag for you too and we both fight FOR Palestine.. I can’t bring the flag down to battlefield anymore even if I wanted to. But… دمي فلسطيني [My Blood is Palestinian],” Muhammad replied.

Muhammad and Chimaev are both top-five guys in the 170-pound division and are coming off impressive winning streaks. However, “Remember The Name” has yet to score a finish since 2019. “Borz,” meanwhile, has finished all his first four opponents except Gilbert Burns, who forced their bout to three rounds at UFC 273.
In his last eight fights, Belal has won seven, the closest thing that blemishes all of that being the no contest he received after being poked in the eye by Leon Edwards.
Currently, Chimaev has won five of his five UFC matches, earning bonuses for four of them. This might be the fight that many people would like to see, but there are definitely obstacles to overcome.
