Kongo’s obliteration of Paul Buentello’s thighs last Sunday at UFC on Versus has earned the Frenchman a very cool $110,000 payday which included a $55,000 win bonus. If Cheick would have disposed of Buentello through some mind-bending KO, ZUFFA would have topped off his check with another $50,000 making his total payday an astonishing $160,000. Unfortunately, Buentello tapped via strikes to the leg which is groundbreaking, but not as amazing as Clay Guida defeating Shannon Gugerty via submission.
