Gregory Babene had a reason to celebrate. Last night at Bellator 50, he went up against newcomer Brandon Farran and submitted him midway through the first round. That kind of excitement is hard to contain, especially when you’re ready for a war and you end it quick. That energy has to go somewhere. It’s like… physics or some shit.
Unfortunately, that energy accidentally went up the side of an officials face. Babene was in the middle of doing some sort of Ginyu Force pose but in the process smacked this guy like he was trying to keep his pimp hand strong. The funniest thing was the official no-selling it.
At least it was just a slap and he apologized after. …I can’t say the same about this Bob Sapp throwback.
