Aw crap, Cyborg Santos is injured and can’t fight Paul Daley

Aw man, I was just starting to enjoy rubbing in the fact that one of the most intriguing MMA cards of recent memory was taking place almost literally in my backyard to all of my Wisconsinite rivals. The cheeseheads may have a Super Bowl championship but I have the Fedor/Hendo card and my bed inside of 20 minutes. Can’t beat that. Unfortunately, Cyborg Santos has just informed MMAPrime.tv that he has injured his shoulder and has to pull out of his scheduled July 30th bout with Paul Daley. Damn.

We were promised a Cyborg/Manhoef remake by Daley, and now that amazing reality has disappeared. Strikeforce is looking for an opponent but Daley might be moved off the card completely. Who is even available at 170? Woodley? Maybe. Since everyone is being so wishy washy about Masvidal getting a lightweight title shot why not give us a rematch of their Sharkfights bout from last year? I think it could work.

Hopefully Cyborg heals up fast, and to help everyone feel better, here is Cyborg vs Manhoef from Cage Rage.
