Ben Askren didn’t miss an opportunity to poke fun at Jorge Masvidal.
Masvidal might be facing a felony battery charge after sucker punching Colby Covington twice as the latter was leaving the ‘Papi Steak’ Restaurant in Miami Beach last night. Covington was said to have chipped his tooth after getting punched by Masvidal.
Of course, Masvidal fought Covington at UFC 272 earlier this month. While he had his moments — including briefly dropping Covington in the fourth round — he was ultimately dominated by “Chaos” who won a comfortable decision.
Masvidal would later state that despite the loss, he would still throw down with Covington if he ever saw him in public. It looks like Masvidal stuck to his word — even if he required sucker punches to do it.

Ben Askren To Jorge Masvidal: ‘Suck It Up’
While many were naturally happy with Masvidal’s actions given how polarizing Covington is, there were also many who criticized his actions.After all, he had 25 minutes to hurt Covington as much as he legally could, but came up short at the end of the contest.
Askren — who has no love lost with Masvidal — was one of them as he took the opportunity to roast Masvidal and tell him to suck it up.

As per a police report, Covington claimed Masvidal told him he shouldn’t have been speaking about his kids in the leadup to UFC 272.
To that, Askren also responded:
