Arman Tsarukyan has shared his thoughts on the upcoming UFC White House lightweight fight between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje.

Tsarukyan, who is currently ranked #2 at lightweight, said the matchup may not be competitive enough and offered some advice directly to Gaethje.

“I would recommend him to get injured during his camp and let me step up and get the title,” Tsarukyan told Red Corner MMA. “After that, he can fight me.”

Tsarukyan’s Position and Next Steps

The Armenian fighter has been active in grappling and wrestling events while waiting for his next UFC opportunity. He has previously faced delays with title fights, including a withdrawal from a bout with Islam Makhachev last year due to injury.

Tsarukyan has already been given a date for his next fight, showing that he remains in good standing with the UFC matchmakers despite past issues. While he is eager for a title shot, he acknowledges that his chance to compete for the belt may not come immediately.

Looking ahead, there are a few potential opponents for Tsarukyan if he does not get involved with the Topuria vs. Gaethje fight. Charles Oliveira could be a future match, but a rematch has been delayed following his recent BMF title win. Another option is Benoit Saint-Denis, ranked #5 at lightweight, though Dana White recently mentioned that Saint-Denis is dealing with an injury.

Tsarukyan continues to position himself as one of the most skilled lightweights in the UFC, showing readiness to step into a major fight if the opportunity arises.
