Arman Tsarukyan is preparing for his much-awaited rematch with Islam Makhachev at UFC 311, but not all of his training is serious. The number one ranked lightweight contender recently shared a fun training clip where he delivered an axe kick near content creator Nina Drama, who was wearing hand gloves. The kick slightly brushed Nina, but it didn’t land with much force during the shoot.

Since that defeat, Tsarukyan has put together a strong winning streak. He won four straight fights, including a debated decision over Charles Oliveira at UFC 300. Along with the victory over Oliveira, Tsarukyan also earned wins against Beneil Dariush, Joaquim Silva, and Damir Ismagulov on his way to earning a title shot.
Despite the upcoming rematch with Makhachev, Tsarukyan has also made waves with his thoughts on the UFC pound-for-pound rankings. “In my opinion, he’s (Islam Makhachev) number two,” Tsarukyan said. “Number one is Jon Jones, for me personally. But for sure, in the 155-pound division, he’s the pound-for-pound best.”
As UFC fans eagerly await the showdown between Tsarukyan and Makhachev, one thing is clear—Tsarukyan is focused on showing how much he has grown as a fighter. Whether it’s a powerful punch or an unexpected kick, he is ready for anything when the fight starts at UFC 311.
