Chris Pratt issued an apology to Israel Adesanya for bashing his performance at UFC 276.

This past weekend, UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya added another title defense to his glittering resume. He took on Jared Cannonier in the headlining bout of UFC 276 and cruised his way to a comfortable victory by a unanimous decision. Adesanya received a lot of criticism from fans for putting on a boring fight.

Among those was Guardians Of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt.

Chris Pratt bashed Israel Adesanya for UFC 276 performance

Chris Pratt was in attendance at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, NV to promote his latest Amazon Prime series, The Terminal List. He even bagged a spot on the broadcast. During the UFC 276 post-fight show, Pratt bashed “Stylebender” for putting on a lackluster showing.

“Look, I’m going to say this as humbly as I can as a guy who has never stepped into the Octagon. I don’t know this game, I’m just an actor, man. But, I’m not a fan of coming out with all that talk and then putting on a little bit of pitter patter. I’m like ‘Come on, man! Cash on that!’

“You gotta cash that promise of being so bad ass. And I dunno. If I bet with my money, I would have bet Adesanya’d do something like that. But I was hoping to see Cannonier make it.”

“Star-Lord” expected more from Izzy after all the trash talk he threw out in the build-up to the event. However, he was also rooting for Cannonier so there may have been a degree of bias there.

It seems like he had a change of heart and has now apologized after Adesanya fired shots back at him.

Chris Pratt issues apology to “Stylebender”

Israel Adesanya defended his performance and took aim at anyone who disagreed, including Pratt. Taking to Twitter, “Stylebender” uploaded a clip of the Hollywood celebrity getting struck in the face with a keyboard with his teeth falling out reading “F*ck You.”

Adesanya used the scene from the movie Wanted to respond to Pratt.

“Good morning.  I’m the man. You’re just some fan.”

Following the 185 lbs king’s jab back at him, Pratt issued an apology to Adesanya retracting his words and claiming he was a hypocrite to critique his work.

“You’re right. I’m sorry brutha. It bugs me when people criticize my work- having never themselves risked anything. It makes me a hypocrite to do exactly that to you. My bad. Keep on keeping on champ.”

While many fans would agree with Pratt’s take on Izzy’s performance, it looks like the two have squashed their brief beef.
