Anthony Pettis Willing To Smoke With Nate Diaz After UFC 241
Anthony Pettis and Nate Diaz will be fighting each other in just a few hours. However afterwards, they could be passing something, and I don’t mean their guard.
Nate Diaz is set to take on Anthony Pettis at UFC 241. Before the bout, at the open workouts, Diaz was seen sparking up a CBD joint on stage. Although it is no secret that the Diaz brothers are known advocates for marijuana.
It is this trait that Pettis admires in Nate Diaz. Although there is high interest (pun intended) in this fight, Pettis has no bad blood. In fact, as he told TMZ recently, Pettis may actually be down to smoke with Diaz after their fight.
“F–k yeah, hell yeah. Honestly, after this fight is done and there’s no beef, I’m going to settle it in the Octagon and afterward if we spark one up, we spark one up.”
Pettis was then asked about the joint that Diaz smoked, and he was not concerned.
“That’s dope, I support that. I smoke weed too, but I can’t smoke with the fight coming up. I’m pretty sure he was smoking CBD since we have to get drug tested on Saturday.”
While Anthony Pettis admitted that he does not have a geat relationship with Nate Diaz, he reiterates that for him it is only business. Additionally, he said that when the fight is over, there would be no reason for the two to still have a grudge. So perhaps we will see these two men hanging out together after the fight.
