Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson Hints UFC Return

Anthony Johnson Says He Could Fight In UFC Again If The Price Is Right

Anthony Johnson is a fighter who competed in four different weight classes. He earned a UFC score of 13-6, with notable wins over Ryan Bader, Alexander Gustafsson, Andrei Arlovski, and Dan Hardy.

Johnson even fought for UFC Light Heavyweight championship versus Daniel Cormier at UFC 210 where he was defeated via rear-naked choke in the second round. “Rumble” surprised everybody when he officially hung up his gloves after this loss. He is remembered in the world of mixed martial arts as one of the most legendary KO artists.

Anthony Johnson was recently explaining why he retired from MMA to pursue bodybuilding. But “Rumble” also announced his partnership with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) on February 2, 2019.

And it looks like his UFC retirement is not permanent too! “Rumble” claims he might reconsider his decision if Dana White offers a good paycheck. Johnson would fight in Heavyweight division but he is even interested to go to 205 for a fair price. (h/t MMAMania.com)

“If the price is right, anything can happen,” Johnson told Luke Thomas. “Dana’s a business man. He knows that when the time is right, we’ll talk about it. But right now, the time just isn’t right. There’s no point. If I’m gonna do it, I wanna do it at heavyweight. Everybody can eat, be fat, and happy and go out there and slug it out and see what happens. If they wanted me to go to 205, I would, if the price was right.”

But Anthony Johnson had a dark side too. “Rumble” set the negative UFC record when he weighed 197 lbs for UFC 142 Middleweight fight versus Vitor Belfort!

Anthony looks huge, so it makes us wonder whether he’ll be able to reach 265 pounds! If he can’t make a deal with Dana White, KSW and Rizin are always ready to pay Super Heavyweight fighters a ton of money.

Do you think Anthony Johnson will fight in UFC again?
