Everything happened too fast. It definitely happened too fast for Glover Teixeira. “It” being a ramrod of hideous strength blasting straight into Teixeira’s dome piece. Anthony Johnson uppercut Teixeira like he was playing Mortal Kombat and didn’t remember the button combination to his Fatality. But that didn’t matter because his uppercut is a Fatality. If phasing Teixeira out of this realm and into the dark realms wasn’t bad enough, it looks like Johnson knocked a tooth out of his mouth.
@SecretMovesMMA Just saw it. Tempted to think it was.

That WAS a tooth. #UFC202

Yes. It was a tooth. One of Teixeira’s damn mouth bones fled in fear of Johnson. My theory is that it happened before Johnson even landed the punch, it was in there rocking back and forth and loosening itself so when the time came it could be out. No blame here. No shame in that. Johnson is an absolutely terrifying individual who somehow is also a very nice, provided you’re not doing yoga around him.
Check out the first (part of an) MMA fighter to ever reach space.
Has Glover’s tooth landed yet? https://t.co/P0H3ZmLusP

Important Update: @_EOW_ with a strong working theory on where Glover’s tooth went…..and it involves a former UFC light heavyweight champion
