It played out like something from The Three Stooges. Linderman poked AJ in the eye, Johnson walked away and looked at his opponent, incredulous, then Linderman moved toward Johnson only to receive a blackout punch to the kisser as a thank you. Unbelievable. I mean, that’s what you get when you fight a dude who rehydrates for a living though, right? Johnson was at 205 tonight, which means he was at least three hundred pounds by fight time. Even though Linderman was coming down from heavyweight, not many people could take a punch from a guy who just ballooned up to 450 pounds in like twenty six hours. On top of that, Anthony Johnson was mad. Linderman had been talking loads of crap prior to the fight, probably causing Johnson to anger-eat after weigh-ins yesterday. With time, Anthony Johnson could be the first 1-ton champion if he wanted to be. My God, this knockout. AJ’s 1300 pound fist could implode a Buick.
In terms of violence, World Series of Fighting 1 has been an unmitigated success.
