Human nature. It’s a powerful thing. We wish could take credit for creating it or even influencing it, but we can’t. As amazing and bone-crushingly powerful as DSTRYR/sg is, even we bow down to a higher power. So, we just give the people what they want.
I’m going to digress quickly and get to my point: people love seeing other people get choked unconscious. It’s just a truism of nature (other examples – monkeys are jealous of humans, dogs like to eat poop, twins have psychic powers).
