What started as a highly anticipated Bellator debut of former UFC Champion Benson Henderson, quickly became a horror movie scream test in our living rooms. As soon as the bout started, one thing was apparent: Andrey Koreshkov is absolutely frightening.
The Bellator Welterweight Champion constantly and masterfully backed up Henderson against the cage, landing devastating shots. The most damage seemed to be inflicted by Koreshkov blasting off with knees like the Russian space program.

Henderson proved to be unbelievably durable and stayed game the whole time. However, Koreshkov was there expressionless at every turn waiting to destroy. He stopped every takedown attempt and punished Henderson for them. Koreshkov even threw spinning shit.

Surprisingly, a much smaller Henderson avoided being knocked out and lost to a 50-45 unanimous decision. With this win, Koreshkov proves he’s one of the best in the world and adds some legitimacy to Bellator.
…And fear in the hearts and minds of viewers everywhere.
