What began as a routine appearance at a major boxing event turned tense when longtime mixed martial artist Andrei Arlovski became involved in a brief physical confrontation inside the venue.
The incident took place Friday night at Kaseya Center in Miami during the Jake Paul versus Anthony Joshua card. Arlovski was walking through a public concourse when he crossed paths with internet personality Jack Doherty and several people traveling with him.
Video from the scene shows a short verbal exchange followed by a punch thrown in Arlovski’s direction, prompting an immediate reaction from the former UFC heavyweight champion.
Physical exchange ends quickly
Arlovski initially engaged the largest individual in the group before others attempted to approach him from behind. He avoided being overwhelmed as nearby spectators and event staff stepped in.
The situation ended within moments but gained attention due to Arlovski’s combat sports history and Doherty’s ongoing livestream. Doherty appeared to urge restraint as the confrontation unfolded.
Security escorted Arlovski away and separated the parties. No injuries were reported, and the event continued without interruption.

Andrei Arlovski, now 46, held the UFC heavyweight title earlier in his career and competed at the sport’s highest level for more than two decades. After departing the UFC in 2024 following a string of losses, he has continued competing across several combat sports promotions, including bare knuckle boxing. He is scheduled to face Ben Rothwell for the BKFC heavyweight championship on February 7.
Jack Doherty is a popular online streamer and content creator known for stunt based videos and livestreams. The 22 year old has built a massive following across multiple platforms, though he has also faced criticism for controversial public behavior. The altercation was captured on his live stream, which contributed to its rapid spread online.
Both parties were separated without further escalation, and no arrests were reported. The moment added an unexpected off ring storyline to an already busy fight weekend in Miami, reminding fans that high profile events can draw attention well beyond the action inside the ropes.
