Anderson Silva’s new Burger King commercial is out and we don’t understand a word of it (but we get the point)

Imagine if schools in America taught BJJ and offered courses in Portuguese to whoever wanted to take them? If that were the case, my true childhood story about four wrestlers brandishing katanas chasing me away from their snow fort and into the sanctuary of my own across the street might have been very different – it could’ve been four Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners chasing me across the street with katanas, and I would be able to understand this commercial (assuming I decided to take Portuguese, which I would).

Let’s get this out of the way: snow fort wars were the best part of childhood, and the high-metabolisms were also another great part of early life. Back then, we would open our mouths wide and stuff a delicious flame-broiled all beef patty with all the condiments we desired within reason on top without a care in the world about carbs, or where the meat came from. Back then all we had to worry about was remembering to ask for the cheese on the delicious Whopper™ that we were about to insert into our eager mouths.

Anderson Silva is doing the job he was paid for and is making me want to sink my teeth into that juicy Whopper™ above, just look at the UFC middleweight champ in the banner pic, does he not look satisfied? He probably realized Burger King offers free refills on any sized drink. What a wonderful restaurant.
