Silva’s is coming off a decision loss to undefeated Israel Adesanya in the main event of UFC 234 pay-per-view (PPV) event which went down on Feb 10 in Melbourne, Australia. “Spider” didn’t do enough to get the nod but his performance was outstanding that leave fans and pundits wanting more from the Brazilian. Following his loss, Silva expressed his desire to rematch with Nick Diaz, but older Diaz said he’s not interested in fighting anyone.
Well, the all-time greatest fighter didn’t get his wish to fight Nick Diaz, but at least he’ll be competing at upcoming UFC 237 Pay-Per-View event against Jared Cannonier (11-4) on May 11 in Curitiba, Brazil. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto confirmed the news.
