Anderson Silva Trains With Only Man Who KOd Israel Adesanya

Anderson Silva Is Now Training With Glory Middleweight Champion Alex Pereira, The Only Fighter Who Put Israel Adesanya To Sleep

Anderson Silva (34-8, 1 NC MMA, 17-4, 1 NC MMA), is slated to fight at UFC 234, on February 10th, 2019, in Melbourne, Australia. He’ll face UFC Middleweight rising star and superb striker Israel Adesanya (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC). “The Spider” took that match seriously. He trains with Alex Pereira, Glory Middleweight champion and the only man who put “The Last Stylebender” to sleep.

Anderson Silva is training with Alex Pereira, who owns wins over Israel Adesanya in kickboxing, during this camp.

Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya fought for the first time at Glory of Heroes on April 2, 2016, where “Po Atan” earned a unanimous decision victory. The two had a rematch on March 3, 2017, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The second time, Pereira shocked the world. He put the Nigerian-born New Zealander to sleep via fabulous left hook! Look at the highlights below.

Pereira’s magical left hook is his trademark. He put Dustin Jacoby and Maycon Silva to sleep via this fantastic strike too.

Israel Adesanya has a kickboxing score of 75-5-1. Four of his five losses came via a unanimous decision. But he lost to Alex Pereira two times, so Anderson Silva made a great choice by choosing “Po Atan” for his training partner.

Anderson Silva is on a cold streak, with only one victory in last six fights. He lost to Chris Weidman (twice), Michael Bisping, and Daniel Cormier. Also, Silva’s victory over Nick Diaz was overturned to no contest when he was tested positive for drostanolone and androsterone. He last fought at UFC 208 on February 11, 2017, where he earned a unanimous decision victory over Derek Brunson.

Anderson Silva is expected to be an underdog versus Israel Adesanya. What do you think, will Alex Pereira teach “The Spider” some tricks and help him defeat “The Last Stylebender”?
