Last night, LayzieTheSavage attended the world premiere of Gerard Roxburgh’s ‘Once I was a Champion’, a film that documents the life of the former UFC middleweight champion, Evan Tanner. Although I didn’t attend the premiere, judging from the media’s response shortly after the Downtown Los Angeles screening, it’s an emotional piece that celebrates the accomplishments of Tanner and also depicts the struggles of the former champion.
