For those of you who aren’t megatron-sized fans of Amir Sadollah, just know that he’s the only fighter in any TUF to enter the house without a professional record. He went on to beat CB Dollaway in the TUF 7 finale to not only win The Ultimate Fighter 7 Middleweight division…but the dude won his first professional fight. He got injured a couple of times and was forced to withdraw from a fight with Nick Catone, twice. Now Amir was healthy, ready to rock in roll, the entire internet was behind him in his UFC 101 fight and…damn. I’m pretty sure if aliens came down to earth and wanted to know the definition of an early stoppage, The president would only have to refer them to a clip of the Johny Hendricks vs. Amir Sadollah fight (then hopefully they would be satisfied and not pull a District 9 on us).
If the rumors are true, Sadollah will face ex-UFC, ex-EliteXC, ex-Strikeforce, new-UFC fighter Phil Baroni at UFC 106. If you’re not familiar with the New York Badass then watch this clip of Baroni giving us the tour of his 1992 Buick that’s tricked out with no AC, a broken window and no air-bags (dude’s a rockstar).
