UFC Couple Amanda Nunes And Nina Ansaroff Willing To Compete In ‘Super Fight’

UFC Bantamweight and Featherweight champ Amanda Nunes is in a relationship with fellow UFC fighter Nina Ansaroff. Yet, this does not stop their willingness to face each other.

The UFC is not known for having many couples in their ranks. It is even more uncommon that these two people would be able to compete against each other. However, this rule does not apply to Amanda Nunes and Nina Ansaroff.

Nunes is facing Holly Holm, after becoming the first women’s champ-champ. Her significant other, Nina Ansaroff, is fresh off at loss at UFC 238, but is not far from a 115lb title shot. TMZ Sports asked both ladies about the potential of fighting each other, if Ansaroff also gets gold.

“100% we already talked about it,” ansaroff said. “after she gets the belt, i’m going to get my belt at fifteen. then we’re going to do a superfight at 125. we’re so down. we would really try to kill each other. there would be no faking about it. then afterwards it would be like ‘that was awesome.’

The thing is, we’ve trained together so long, it comes to the point that we barely touch each other when we spar, because we know what each other’s going to do. so if it was going to go for real, i’m really going to try to take her head. it wouldn’t be like…we would really try to beat each other.”

Furthermore, they posed the question to Nunes, who had this to say:

“Yeah DEFINITELY. my last fight is going to be against nina, and then i’m going to retire.”

Without a doubt, “spouse vs spouse” would be one of the craziest selling points in all of UFC history. That being said, Nunes vs Ansaroff would be a fun fight.
