Alleged shady MMA manager, Brett Archley, gives us an official statement on everything said about him

What an absolute whirlwind of accusations in the MMA scene over the past few days. First, Invicta FC president Shannon Knapp placed the absolute smackdown on a manager that, at the time, was unnamed. Feel free to read the entire statement, but essentially Knapp claimed this manager said he would ‘blackball’ fighters from signing with Invicta FC — just general ‘power move douchery.’ Within a few hours, Tara LaRosa exposed the manager as Brett Atchley, the president of Addison Sports Management and manager of transgender fighter Fallon Fox.

This morning we reached out to Atchley for an official response on blitzkrieg of things being said about him. Here’s what he told MiddleEasy.

It has been brought to my attention that someone in the women’s mma community is making slanderous accusations against me and seeking out athletes to confirm such accusations.

I take these types of accusations very seriously even though they are unfounded, and I am currently exploring my legal options to defend my name and reputation. I will also do what is necessary to legally put an end to these individuals gossiping and creating situations that simply do not exist.

I would like to publically thank the athletes I currently represent for not buying into the gossip and lies being spread by these individuals and being professionals.

Best Regards,
Brett S. Atchley
President

The only problem with that statement is that it’s not just one person — it’s many people that are making their own unique accusations towards him. In fact just last night I listened to perhaps the creepiest interview regarding Brett Atchley that I’ve ever heard about a manager. It’s filled with awkward kissing, sexual text messages — and just general weirdness. If that interests you, then maybe we’ll write a story on it.
