Alistair Overeem is fairly certain Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones will never go down

The MMA world has a better chance of a velociraptor emerging from the Italian archipelago and commandeering a private plane to fly to Los Angeles and auditioning for a supporting role in the next Twilight movie than seeing Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones inside the Octagon. If only Jon Jones was a Capulet and Anderson Silva a Montague could I finally admit that something I’ve learned in 7th grade English literature finally has relevance in the real world. Instead, I’ll front like Daphne du Maurier’s ‘Rebecca‘ continues to play an integral part in my life. That’s right Mr. Hatch, I learned nothing in your class and everyone knew that you downed martinis in the morning before you came into school. We could smell it on your breath. You gave me a C+ in your class, but I stole a box of erasers from your desk — so we’re even.

I bet Spencer Lazara from MMA Interviews failed English literature in high school. Shame on him. Granted, he does have the gold medal for rocking cut-off shirts with his company logo on it, so that has to count for something. Check out this video of Spencer Lazara interviewing Alistair Overeem and by the end, you will fully comprehend Alistair’s reasoning as to why Silva vs. Jones is never going down.
