Alexa Grasso has her next assignment, and it lands on a familiar stage for one of Mexico’s biggest UFC names.
The UFC announced that Noche UFC will take place on September 12 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, with Grasso booked against Manon Fiorot as part of a six-fight batch added to the card. The matchup brings together the former women’s flyweight champion and the division’s No. 2 contender at a point where the 125-pound title picture is still moving fast.
Grasso has been tied closely to the Noche UFC brand before, including the Sphere event built around Mexican Independence Day weekend after an earlier full Noche UFC card reveal helped turn the concept into a yearly tentpole. This one gives her a chance to reset after losing the belt and to do it against a fighter who has spent years pushing toward a title shot.
Moreno had already been attached to the Glendale lineup, but the broader update now puts the Grasso-Fiorot fight at the front of the announcement and gives the card a more complete shape.

Grasso Meets A Flyweight Contender Who Needs No Introduction
Fiorot has been one of the tougher outs in the women’s flyweight division for a while, even after Valentina Shevchenko outworked her at UFC 315. Her physical style, distance control, and strength in the clinch have made her a difficult puzzle for nearly everyone she has faced. For Grasso, that makes the booking more than a home-market showcase. It is a direct test against a contender who can immediately change the next title conversation.
The fight also gives the UFC a clean top-of-the-card Mexican storyline without leaning only on Moreno. Grasso remains one of the promotion’s most recognizable Mexican stars, and the flyweight division has kept circling back to her since Shevchenko discussed the stakes of their trilogy.
Moreno is still part of the event, too. The former flyweight champion is set to face The Ultimate Fighter season 33 winner Joseph Morales as he tries to stop his slide and get back into the win column.
UFC Fills Out The Glendale Card
The UFC listed four additional matchups with the announcement. Heavyweights Waldo Cortes Acosta and Curtis Blaydes are scheduled to meet in a ranked bout that could matter quickly in a division always looking for fresh movement near the top.
At flyweight, Tim Elliott is booked against Edgar Chairez. The card also includes Julian Marquez vs. Deron Winn and Jose Daniel Medina vs. Josh Hokit.
That is a useful first shape for the Glendale lineup: Grasso gets the highest-stakes divisional fight of the group, Moreno adds another Mexican former champion to the bill, and Blaydes gives the card a ranked heavyweight name.
The UFC said tickets go on sale Friday, July 31. More fights can still be added before September, but the promotion now has its core Noche UFC identity in place.
For Grasso, the assignment is simple and unforgiving. Beat Fiorot, and she is right back in the flyweight title conversation. Lose, and the division moves on without waiting.
With Valentina Shevchenko’s next title chapter already taking shape, Grasso cannot afford a quiet return. Noche UFC gives her the spotlight. Fiorot gives her the kind of opponent who can prove whether she is still one win away from the belt.
