Alex Pereira is known for his amazing skills in the UFC, and he usually likes to let his actions do the talking instead of getting into arguments. But recently, he couldn’t ignore some comments from Jamahal Hill that really got under his skin.

After Pereira knocked Hill out in just over three minutes at UFC 300, Hill hasn’t stopped making snarky remarks. Right after Pereira’s impressive win against Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307, Hill yawned and said he wasn’t impressed at all. It was a pretty bold move.

“It’s crazy how y’all see a clip with no context, no nothing, and y’all just be ready to talk shit and just attack and come disrespectful as ever,” Hill said on his YouTube channel. “It’s hilarious… I never said the fight was boring…

“It was an entertaining fight. You saw some adversity, you saw adjustments and game plan. That’s one thing I will give Alex credit for, he adjusted his game plan a few times in that fight until he ultimately found his way to the finish and to the victory. So I will give him credit for that.

“Now, to the yawn at the end. Was it entertaining? Yes. Was I impressed? No. I’m not impressed… Did I see anything in the cage that scares me or that I didn’t expect to see? No.”

Now, Pereira seems a bit bored with Hill’s comments, especially since Hill hasn’t even fought again since their last match in April. Instead of focusing on what Hill says, Pereira is eager to keep showing everyone just how great he is in the octagon.

“I’m going to be real honest with you, if that performance with Khalil was shit, where does Jamahal rank — the performance I had against him?” Pereira told Uncrowned. “If that fight was crap, so imagine the fight [against Jamahal].

“How can he say that? I’m going to be honest, I’m not going to further talk about Jamahal. I’m on a different level.”

Alex Pereira is getting ready for a big fight. While he hasn’t said who he wants to face, many people think he might fight Magomed Ankalaev soon. But first, Ankalaev has to win his next match against Aleksandar Rakic at UFC 308.

Ankalaev has been very open about wanting to fight Pereira and win the title. He was unhappy when he didn’t get a chance to fight for the title and saw Khalil Rountree get picked instead. Everyone is excited to see if Ankalaev can win his fight next week so he can challenge Pereira.

“Some people say Ankalaev [is next] but I’m going to be honest with you, him and his manager have been talking a lot of crap saying that I don’t want to fight, this and that,” Pereira said. “But the reality is the organization doesn’t want him to fight because he’s boring. People don’t like to watch him fight. He’s not a guy that sells pay-per-views.

“Honestly, that’s disrespectful that they’re trying to put it on me. Because it’s not up to me, it’s up to the organization. The organization doesn’t want to make the fight. But now because they keep saying that, keep disrespecting, maybe I’ll make it a little bit even harder for them to fight [me].”

Alex Pereira has lots of fun options for his next fights in the UFC. This year, he was the main attraction for three big events, proving just how awesome he is.

After his win against Khalil Rountree in October, Pereira talked about some tough times he faced, including feeling unwell before the match. But he didn’t let that stop him. He showed everyone that being brave and strong can help you overcome anything.
