Alex Pereira Shows Off Power in Arm Wrestling Duel with Bodybuilder
In Korea, Alex Pereira joined forces with famous bodybuilder and Physical 100 star Kim Kang Min. After trying out intense gym workouts together, they faced off in a thrilling arm wrestling challenge.
“I’m curious,” he said to Pereira via a translator. “I’ll see if I’m strong enough to [compete].” Pereira then said in Portuguese: “I’m strong when competing, but I’m weak when it comes to lifting weights.”
The two sat down to arm wrestle, and it went just as many expected. The bodybuilder gave it everything he had, sweating and straining, while Alex Pereira stayed calm and focused, barely showing any effort.
Eventually, Pereira suggested they end the match as a draw, which the bodybuilder happily agreed to. After that, they continued with their workout, sharing some laughs and even showing off their signature poses together at the end of the video.
Fans Surprised by Alex Pereira’s Arm Wrestling Match
Fans who watched the video mostly thought that Alex Pereira’s muscles were better for real fighting and activities. The bodybuilder looked big and strong, but his muscles weren’t as useful for something like arm wrestling.
Alex Pereira gave that bodybuilder a free physics lesson – turns out muscles don’t mean much when you’re up against a human forklift.
Alex Pereira is a freak of nature, a super strong athlete.
He couldn’t even hurt a random fat Korean guy and got a boxing lesson by a retired amateur boxer who has never been to Olympics.
Alex has true power. Bodybuilder has show muscles.
It’s a completely different strength. Body builders carry a lot of water weight Fighters are lean and their muscles are more dense.

Then, he stepped in last minute to fight Jiri Prochazka again at UFC 303. Finally, in October, he faced Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307, which went all the way into the fourth round before Pereira scored another knockout victory. Now, he’s enjoying some time off after a tough schedule.
