AJ McKee has his next title fight, and it comes with two featherweight belts attached.
McKee is booked to meet unbeaten RIZIN featherweight champion Razhabali Shaidulloev in the Super RIZIN 5 main event on Sept. 10, 2026, at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Osaka, Japan. Shaidulloev’s RIZIN title is on the line, and the bout is also set to crown the vacant PFL featherweight champion.
RIZIN announced the matchup through its official social channel as part of the Super RIZIN 5 rollout. The event listing has doors scheduled for 3 p.m. local time and a planned 5 p.m. start.
Two Featherweight Belts Go To Osaka
Shaidulloev enters the fight at 19-0. He won the RIZIN featherweight belt against Kleber Koike and has made three successful title defenses, stopping Viktor Kolesnik, Mikuru Asakura, and Yuta Kubo during his recent run in Japan.
The pace of those wins is the main detail McKee has to solve. Shaidulloev has not gone beyond the second round as a professional, and only one of his RIZIN fights has lasted longer than five minutes.
McKee comes in at 25-2. The former Bellator featherweight champion has won three straight since returning to 145 pounds, beating Akhmed Magomedov, Adam Borics, and Salamat Isbulaev. His most recent win over Isbulaev kept him in position for a major featherweight title assignment.
The PFL side matters because this is not only a RIZIN title defense. McKee can leave Japan as the new PFL featherweight champion, while Shaidulloev can add that vacant belt to the RIZIN title he already owns.
The matchup also gives McKee another major featherweight fight after a long Bellator run and his later lightweight grand prix work. This one is back at 145 pounds with both the Japanese promotion’s belt and PFL’s vacant title attached.
Super RIZIN 5 Adds More Names
Super RIZIN 5 also includes Roberto Satoshi vs. Shunta Nomura, Mikuru Asakura vs. Shinya Aoki, Vugar Karamov vs. Ryo Takagi, Yutaka Saito vs. YA-MAN, Karshyga Dautbek vs. Ren Hiramoto, Daichi Tomizawa vs. Don’t Mind Kawabata, and RENA vs. Natalia Kuziutina.
For McKee, the assignment is direct. He gets an unbeaten RIZIN champion, a main-event slot in Japan, and a chance to put the PFL featherweight belt around his waist in the same fight.
