Ahead of Assassin’s Creed Unity release, UFC and Ubisoft unite for a six man All Assassin’s Team

With all due respect to the soul assassin David Terrell, the Alaskan assassin Sam Hoger, the young assassin Melvin Guillard, the silent assassin Abel Cullum, and just the assassin Houston Alexander you did not make MMA’s All Assassin team. As fans of the Assassin’s Creed video game franchise break out their cloaks, Ubisoft has partnered with UFC to promote the seventh major installment in the series.

On Tuesday, November 11th, Assassin’s Creed Unity will hit shelves for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Set in Paris on the eve of the French Revolution the single player mode storyline will delve into the exploits of assassin Arno Dorian and his efforts to uncover the true powers behind the Revolution.

A staple of the series, key historical moments like the “Execution of King Louis XVI” and “The Storming of Bastille” will be revisited in Assassin’s Creed Unity. Also for the first time in the series Assassin’s Creed Unity will feature up to a four player co-op mode.

Now imagine walking the streets of 18th-century Paris, turning the corner and running into the UFC’s All Assassin’s Team. Cain Velasquez, Gilbert Melendez, Donald Cerrone, TJ Dillashaw, Robbie Lawler, and Matt Brown will all rock assassin cloaks as part of the partnership between the UFC and Ubisoft.

6’4 265 pounds dudes with the combination of speed and power Cain Velasquez has weren’t exactly a dime a dozen in 18th century Europe. Scary stuff. A former professional bull rider, Donald Cerrone slamming a French IPA and then head kicking you while he wears a cloak is almost too perfect. Robbie Lawler hits opponents in the Octagon like a cannonball to the face, now picture what he could do after a few assassin lessons.

If you’re opposing the All Assassin Team in a dark alley, it would probably be a good time to switch teams and reevaluate some of your life choices.
