After a few soccer-kicks and a no contest we will see Arlovski/Sylvia V in the near future

I’m not really sure how to describe Sylvia/Arlovski IV besides it being the most technical and high level Street MMA ever. Both dudes came out and pretty much started swinging for the fences, and both really showing no defense to speak of. Arlovski ate tons of shots from Sylvia but he did not fall. Then Arlovski looked like the Pitbull of old and threw leather back at the Maine-iac with reckless abandon. Eventually the fight devolved into a trash talk filled, headbutt, low-blow and thumb to the eye filled brawl. Ref Yuji Shamada kept the fence-hugging to an absolute minimum and both combatants focused on knocking the other man out.

Near the end of the second round during one of their flurries, Arlovski brutalized Sylvia’s face with a few right hands, dropping Sylvia to his knees and opening him up to an EA MMA style soccer-kick delivery. However, Shamada didn’t signal Arlovski for a legal soccer-kick, so the fight was ended when Sylvia admitted in a Bahstan accent he was seeing double.

No contest, and both fighters ask for another fight against each other. Wild. Absolutely wild.
