UFC, you need to sign Benjamin Brinsa. It worked that one time with Conor McGregor, so why not give it another shot?
The MMA world needs the UFC to hold another event in Germany despite the fact that UFC has been banned on German television. The reason given by the Bavarian Regulatory Authority for Commercial Broadcasting is that the ‘massiveness of the violence’ displayed is ‘unacceptable’ and ‘standing taboos like hitting a prone opponent on the ground’ is in contradiction with the Bayerische Rundfunk Constitution. Marshall Zelaznik, the managing director of international development at the UFC, planned to work with German authorities in reinstating the broadcast which can only mean a long ‘slapping-in-the-face’ session to make them realize that UFC 121 was held in Oberhausen, Germany.
Germany needs that one stellar MMA fighter to push the sport over the precipitous in the country. Actually, Germany already has that superstar, and his name is Benjamin Brinsa. 13-0, a twenty-three-year-old middleweight hailing from Leipzig, Germany that has finished all but two of his fights. With seven submissions in his thirteen wins, it’s simply redundant to tell you this guy is the future of MMA in Germany.
