Adin Ross says Brand Risk is investigating the Ray J vs. Supah Hot Fire fight after Ray J suggested something was off following his second-round loss at Brand Risk 14.
Ray J, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., is an R&B singer, actor, television personality, and entrepreneur. Supah Hot Fire became a viral battle-rap character years before stepping into the Brand Risk cage. Their amateur MMA fight was already a strange booking, and the post-fight mic moment made it bigger than the finish.
After Supah Hot Fire stopped Ray J in the second round, Ray J grabbed the mic and made a claim that immediately raised questions.
“Yo, I thought we had a plan!” Ray J said. “I don’t wanna say too much because I don’t wanna get anybody in trouble but damn, we took an L tonight … How much money we lost!”
In a clip posted by Adin Updates on X, Ross said Ray J’s post-fight statement and Supah Hot Fire’s quiet opening round both need to be reviewed.
“Ray J, obviously what he said after the fight, Supa Hot not throwing a f*cking punch, like, in the first round, we need to look into that,” Ross said. “We need to investigate that.”

Ross Says Brand Risk Is Taking The Claim Seriously
Ross did not accuse Supah Hot Fire of wrongdoing. He said the second round looked more like the fighter Brand Risk expected to see.
“Supa Hot has been nothing but a great fighter and he’s been great,” Ross said. “And Supa looked like himself in the second round.”
Ross said he does not know why Ray J made the post-fight claim.
“Now, do I know why Ray J said what he said? No, I don’t,” Ross said. “We’re taking that sh*t very seriously.”
Ross added one more line about the way the fight looked.
“It did look weird, bro,” Ross said.
Brand Risk 14 took place at the UFC’s Meta Apex in Nevada under the oversight of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, according to event coverage. That matters because a sanctioned fight brings commission scrutiny, even when the card is built around celebrity and influencer matchups.
Ross has built Brand Risk around crossover fights involving streamers, athletes, entertainers, and MMA personalities. The same card included Johnny Manziel stopping Bob Menery in the first round, while Sean Strickland walked out after attending the event.
Ray J vs. Supah Hot Fire already had its own odd fight rhythm before the mic came out. Supah Hot Fire stopped Ray J in round two after a quiet opening round, and Ross now has to sort through why Ray J left the cage talking about a plan.
