The collision was catastrophic—Bogatyrev’s shin connected with Abreu’s knee, snapping his leg instantly. Bogatyrev stepped back, realized the injury, and crumpled to the canvas, clutching his leg. Klidson Abreu turned pro in 2011 and holds a 17-6-2 record after ACA 191. A former UFC light heavyweight from 2019 to 2020, he went 1-3, with a win over Sam Alvey before returning to regional promotions. After leaving the UFC, he competed in the Professional Fighters League (PFL) in 2021 and 2022, going 1-1 with a no-contest, including a 2022 decision win over Adam Keresh.
Known for his grappling, Abreu has 10 submission wins. Abreu entered ACA 191 coming off a unanimous decision loss to Mukhomad Vakhaev at ACA 182 on December 13, 2024.
