If you’ve had an Internet connection in the past few weeks, you’ve probably seen the video of the fight on the AC bus that escalated as a result of a shoeshine argument. You may even have seen one of the hundreds of remixes and animated recreations out there on the interwebz. Lets face it, it was a pretty cool video…but the saga continues and it looks like these guys want to duke it out a second time on a Strikeforce card.
To break it down: Michael was the black guy who attacked Thomas (the white dude with the beard), and he’s trying to cash in on his viral-video fame by calling out Thomas for a rematch. Not only has Thomas verbally accepted a rematch, here’s the prefight, smack-talking promo video:
This is the kind of stuff I see every single day living in NYC, and it never gets old. Since I started writing this article, two people got into a fight over the Starbucks bathroom key and both were promptly ejected. I’m hoping MMA doesn’t turn into a street-beef resolution center, but if it does, I suppose I’d watch it…you probably would too. [Source]
