A Lesson in Hockey MMA: Don’t forget the bodyshots

It’s that time of the year; today officially marks the end of the fantasy football regular season, it’s nice and cold out, (not that it matters since I sweat as if I’m giving birth even when it’s below freezing) and hockey season is in full swing. This hockey season has given us downright death-defying goals so far… Okay, they might not be death-defying, but just look at this Pavel Datsyuk goal and this Tomas Hetrl goal. In my very humble opinion, both of these men put their life on the line to score those goals and I thank them for that.

There is another hockey player that put his life on the line today and that man was New York Rangers defenseman Justin Falk. He dropped the gloves with Winnipeg forward Anthony Perluso. The only possible way to describe what Anthony Perluso did is that he made Justin Falk a good boy. He embodied Gennady Golovkin to deliver some absolutely crushing body shots as well as some uppercuts that would make Balrog blush. Anthony Perluso, you’re a scary man.
