I’ll be the first to admit that MMA in 2015 has been supremely entertaining, but that doesn’t excuse the dark cloud hanging over our beloved sport. If NFL players making 10X what an average MMA fighter earns can retire without a second thought, what do you think it’s like to be a Frankie Perez, now 11-2 and likely earning pennies to get punched in the head?
