19-year-old former cheerleader is making her professional MMA debut this weekend

The title of this article was created to lure sexually deprived men into reading a story about MMA. Honesty is the best policy. The truth is, if Jordan Gaza wasn’t a 19-year-old former cheerleader, we wouldn’t be talking about her professional MMA debut. Her opponent, Paige Vanzant, is also making her professional debut June 30th at Ultimate Warrior Fighting’s Tournament of Warriors Round 3 in Corpus Christi, TX — and we didn’t theme an entire article about her. At the heart of it, people are just wildly intrigued by cheerleaders. Their sole existence is to promote the self-esteem of an entire team. That’s pretty noble of them. Who else dedicates their life building the moral of a group of people besides Tony Robbins and Mother Teresa? Also, we’re not entirely sure if Jordan Gaza is one of those special indestructible cheerleaders that NBC’s ‘Heroes‘ insisted exists in the southwest of America.

Jordan Gaza is out there, and judging by this picture, someone in her camp loves Wu-Tang Clan. If that picture didn’t exist, you would have never seen it. That’s deeper than what you think it is. Trust me.

US Combat Sports caught up with Jordan Gaza this week to see what’s running through her mind just days before her professional MMA debut. Here’s what she said:

“This is the first fight I’m getting a little nervous for. It’s not that I’m nervous for my opponent, no disrespect to her, but I’m nervous for the fight and being in front of my friends and family in the crowd,”

Oh, did I mention that she’s a cheerleader — because that’s pretty important. Jordan also picked Anderson Silva over Chael Sonnen for UFC 148. See, now you share something in common with a 19-year-old cheerleader. You’re basically her distant cousin. If you live in the Corpus Christi area and are interested in seeing people legally punch each other in the face, then check out UWF’s website for ticket information. Just kidding about the ticket information, it’s nowhere to be found on the site. That webmaster needs to go back to school.
