PFL 2 Results: Will Brooks Defeated Luiz Firmino

Professional Fight League (PFL 2) event took place on Thursday night in Chicago.

In the main event, former Bellator lightweight champion Will Brooks square off against Luiz Firmino in a lightweight contest. Brooks who came back in the winning column after walked away with the win via decision over Firmino.

In the co-main event, Brian Foster face off against UFC vet Ramsey Nijem. It was a disappointing night for Ramsey, after Foster dropped Nijem with a flying knee, and then finished him off with ground and pound strikes.

Two-time gold medalist Kayla Harrison also made her MMA debut in the card. Her performance was dominating and submitted Brittney Elkin with an armbar in the first frame.

Also featured in the main card, Efrain Escudero submitted longtime UFC veteran Jason High in the third round, it was an early stoppage. Jason immediately objected that he didn’t tap, and even pushed the referee with one hand. (noted Efrain didn’t make weight for this bout so he wouldn’t get any points)

UFC veteran Sean O’Connell kick off the main card by finished Ronny Markes via second-round TKO.
