A Dutch female kickboxer captured a world title in a matter of seconds.
A quick road to success
Kyara van der Klooster is making headlines after pulling off the unthinkable at Enfusion 142 in Dordrecht, Netherlands. The Dutch brutally knocked Turkey’s Feride Kirat out with a nasty right hook, finishing the bout in just six seconds.
Kirat tried to get back on her feet but immediately wobbled as she stood back up. The referee in charge then called to stop the fight, declaring Van der Klooster as the winner via first-round knockout.

A world title and an instant reputation
Van der Klooster’s victory may be quick but it transformed her kickboxing career. The win did not only see her ending Kirat’s undefeated record but more importantly, it also made her a world champion in the promotion’s women’s 55 kg division.
Moreover, the 19-year-old gained notoriety as a vicious knockout artist with her six-second win. Prior to establishing herself as one of the most dangerous fighters in the kickboxing promotion, Van der Klooster also delivered an impressive Enfusion debut when she outpointed Suad Salimova at Enfusion Talents 112.
As it stands, Van der Klooster now has a 2-0 pro kickboxing record.
